For a time-sensitive and high-traffic project, WAX urgently needed a wide spectrum of expertise. Issues to be addressed ranged from the efficiency and security of back-end frameworks and database architecture to the rapid implementation of conversion optimization techniques on user-facing websites.
With over 10,000 daily website users originating from over 60 countries – plus an eminent deadline (literally a countdown on the homepage) – WAX gave us a small window to diagnose, triage and implement our best practices.
After identifying weaknesses in build processes, product management, and design, we set to work upgrading every underperforming pixel. Using data-driven research on conversion optimization – specifically by tactically emphasizing repetition, simplicity, personality and consistency – we re-designed various elements of the sign-up form, social media onboarding pathways, and a number of graphical elements.
After many sleepless nights and productive weekends, our processes began to yield results, including marked upticks (some metrics doubled) in leads captured, social media interactions, time spent on the website - and conversions.
